We've had a great year so far. We've said hello to many old friends, as well as having met many new people from all over the world

Thanks to Jacek Paradowski for bringing 30 divers from Poland. Everything went well, with Vic, Robert, Richard, Guy and Herman joining the regular crew for guiding.  The new shop layout was finished just in time so that the shop was never crowded.

Many of you may have met Fabrizio (sorry no photo - we must start using that camera ! ). Fabrizio was with us for five months and completed almost two hundred dives. His buoyancy control went from average to excellent in that time and he managed to dive just about every dive site in the area. Fabrizio is remarkable in that he attaches his fins to his artificial legs and has the use of only one arm. If you're here in October, he'll be back. The only thing that we ask of Fabrizio is....Please Study English ! We don't speak Italian !

Donsol

We had some great times in Donsol. Etsuko Aoki (left) brought 3 divers from Japan and were joined by Donaleen Jolson from Canada.

Later on in February Ray Casavant, Mike and Tony flew in from America and spent a week in Puerto Galera followed by a trip to Donsol. It was their second trip to Puerto Galera. Great to see you again guys!

Courses

Congratulations must go out to everyone that has completed courses with us this year. Lea Recto (left) completed her TDI tech course and had no problem with the twin 12 liter tanks and the deco tank.

Nic and John Oven joined us from Hong Kong and with them came Nic's brother Pete Lawley. Pete and his family all became PADI Open Water Divers. Lakota (left) did very well and was certified as a Junior Open Water diver, while Ali overcame some initial stress and turned out to be a very good diver.

Ringo Wong

...and his friends came back for their third visit and as usual did all their dives with Harry looking for seahorses and mandarin fish.

Rick was very nervous about teaching an advanced wreck class in Subic Bay. Why nervous? Well his students included an instructor trainer, the head of TDI Japan and two experienced TDI instructors (below). In fact his stress levels may explain why he is now sporting the bald look (either that or his hair is now too gray!)

From left: Mr. Ohara, Rick, Mr. Tahara, Mr. Nishitani and Mr.Yasuhara

And finally...

Congratulations to XC who is now the proud father of a little baby girl, as well as Harry - baby boy and Romel - baby boy. I don't know what is in the water here - but whatever it is, it's working!

we could have written ten more pages with stories of all the divers that have been here this year, if only we had more photos. We're so lazy when it gets down to taking pictures. So, if you have any photos of your trips here to Frontier Scuba, please send them to us and we'll post them in the next newsletter. New Babies, marriages, underwater shots... we'd love to see them all.
